As I said in another
>place, many realms have not had a daimon within their borders for
>_months_.

Does it really matter that no daimons have visited their realms? I seriously doubt it, as the threat of an attack is ever-present. Most realms that aren't being attacked by the daimons are going out of their ways to fight them outside their borders, to reduce the threat if possible and gain foreign favours and a good reputation, should they be attacked. No, invasions haven't been the same before, but they've been dull, and they also had people complain about the *unending* invasion. The title the original poster used is quite appropriate for how many feel. Sure, maybe it could have been put forward better, but doesn't that still go to show that people would preffer shorter invasions rather than ones who last over a year and a half? I've been is such realms you talk about, some were even like that during the strongest part of the invasion... the daimons are always affecting them, indirectly if not indirectly. And besides, those tend to be realms that would be incapable of doing anything else anyways, for many possible reasons. Instead of culling out the weak, this invasion just tied up the powers and put their on-going wars and conflicts on hold. We hear tales about how the other invasions left bunch of the lands rogue, but right now, we are just scratching our heads and woundering "How the hell did Fronen get killed?", as they are the only ones to die by the NPC forces. Valentia, Luz de Bia, and Ashborn got killed by human actions, Khthon, I can't tell, but who cares since it already got rebuilt... during the invasion.
