-chuckle- My appologies Rob, I'd written that while rather tired and didn't
realize how it might look. What I was refering to was how Dominic had the
right information about the gates, the nature of the shadowlands, and a
great deal of the other information collected and distributed. I was going
to answer the same origional email, but he beat me too it and actually
covered the material quite well and I was pleased to discover that someone
knew something.

Though I'd hazzard that things like the portals are useless background, in
the sense that they could have been anything. Their purpose was to give
people a sense of hope that they're accomplishing something. I mean no one
was at all suspicious that there were suddenly portal stones and that we
knew exactly how to use them, they were just relieved that they had
/something/ they could do. That they could have an effect. Mind you the
effect was to sit back and let the peasants solve the mess, but hey everyone
got to have fun throwing a wrench into the plans.

The summary of the BT invasion is easy "Everybody dies"

>Was the next 12 months of the invasion completely pointless and lacking of
content and purpose?

As for that line.... -shrug-
