[Discuss] Beluaterra's unending Daimon invasion.

For me this Daimon invasion has been an exercise in tactics. And don't get
me wrong, I like that! Despite what many people think, the Daimons are
beatable on the battlefield with just a little bit of planning. I've been
having plenty of fun figuring out new ways of slaughtering the Daimons.

My big gripe with the invasion is the GM's completely ignoring plot
directions and events sent in their direction. They seem to have this all
pre planned out and, as Timothy so eloquently said: "...information has been
dripped and drizzled out... ". So rather than this plot that is so often
eluded to by the Daimons being apparent to the players it's just an annoying
and convoluted background buzz to the players being stomped by one(?) GM who
doesn't actually react to what is going on in the game unless it somehow
follows his pre determined program. Why should the players not be the ones
to throw the Daimons a curve ball (such as their hordes getting unexpectedly
smashed to pieces as the Daimon is bragging about his might by the very
people he is bragging to)? It goes to ways. Are we the GM's toys or are we
playing a game together here?
