If everyone who is bored with the current invasion would leave the
island, Beluaterra would be rather empty. Most just stick around
because they hope it's almost over and will soon become more fun
again. For some reason, the end of it is as always near, but never
gets closer.

You could of course just say all this criticism is just a bunch of
whiners and pretend everyone loves the invasion. But as much as
criticism needs to be constructive, if you just say everyone voicing
criticism is a whiner, that hardly improves the situation for anyone.
