Invasions last far longer than a year, that's the normal situation, all
invasions have had extensive effects that last two or more years. If one
lives in the arctic, one should be surprised that winter is a long season.
We live on 'monster world' so monster invasions will be long as well.

Not really, because the no matter how many times they've been changed, the
rulers want the same thing. Different actors, same characters prancing about
on the stage you could say. Besides, the foundation of all the complaints
is, 'I want to do something, but you're not letting me.'

Everyone keeps saying they want the invasion to end so they can fight
humans, so go fight humans. It's the same line said every invasion, "Please
stop so we can kill each other." Not one ounce of varriation in what
everyone wants to do in three invasions. Different rulers, and they all
desire the same things, blood, screams, and dirt.
