So, I just received an oath in the region of Orbeh, realm Arcaea, FEI.
We've just retaken the region (it had gone rogue), and my character is a
buro who signed up and is working frantically to keep the stats up. He got
his oath, and went to go expand his estate to the mid-size level and put it
on authority. Except...The game is telling me I need 50 gold to
expand, which indicates to me that the estate was already mid-size, and it
was already set on production. Now...It sounds like a bug, but I wanted to
check to see if maybe there was some strange code for getting someone else's
old estate?

Same issue with one of my knights on Atamara. I just got 2 new knights(there
were no knights) and the first one inherited the estate from the knight I
lost.

I'd like to note that I don't think this is a bad thing. Actually, it's
pretty awesome. I just want to know if it's intentional or not.

I had the same thing occur on Atamara with one of my characters.

Personally I think this is working exactly like it is suppose to. If in
real life a noble had spent the time and money to expand his manor house,
build additional buildings, clear fields, etc. then those changes would
still have been there, unless of course the estate was damaged or destroyed.
