It would be helpful if the game displayed the official Current Day 
somewhere.  Maybe at the top of your character's page, you see:

"3 hours until Monday sunset"

for example.  Unless that's confusing when put next to the time pool 
which says you've got 12 hours left to play with.  In which case just 
"It is Monday" would be enough perhaps.


As for this in relation to the standing orders, surely standing orders 
are orders that are true on a long-term basis.  So they'd never contain 
such things as "move in two turns" or "move on Monday sunrise" anyway. 
More likely to contain things like "don't ever travel through 
Splodgeville without permission" or "standard settings are: " or "never 
loot Blobville" or "all knights with fewer than ten troops are permitted 
to return to recruit at any time" or something.
