You are indeed confusing two different abilities. Claim Region and Auto de
Fe (though I think its mispelled "Auto da Fe" in-game) are two different
abilities, with different effects and requirements. That being said, the
information is not available on the wiki for a reason, and I judge it better
for the mass of non-priest players to remain ignorant of their abilities, to
prevent them from further trying to control religions. The only situation
you would need to know is if you were a priest, in which case you could
check it out yourself.

Sorry if this doesn't answer your question, but some things are not meant to
be taugth by others, but discovered by yourself. Religious knowledge, for
one, is best kept within the religious circles.
