My general rule:
If it shows up on the family history page, then it is general knowledge. This is 
true whether the family wishes it to be known or not, and whether they choose 
to acknowledge or deny it.

Rush Limbaugh may not want people to know he did drugs, and he may deny 
he did drugs, but we know better.

Yeah, bugs can make family history a little unrealiable from time to time. Think 
of it as the unreliable nature of the rumor mill.

Why not? If it's in the family history, it's general knowledge. You may not have 
heard that the person was appointed, but for some reason the news that he 
abdicated was more widely circulated.
