I know IC because I have received letters from one of my fellow
generals and he confirmed the presence of the daimon lord. And, IC, I
don't want to endanger myself(not to mention spend 2-4 weeks
traveling) when I could send a lowly messenger to contact him.

I thought so too, but only the human realm rulers are listed.
