In a very common scene from the last few days, the guards in Nid Tek
were forced to work in organizing the peasants complaints and doubling
the patrols through the main settlements streets. Yet, each day more
peasants would leave their farms in fear, coming to spend the night at
heir relatives, in the patrolled area. Word was running that monsters
were everywhere, in the country side.

The smallest groups of houses were sacked, just as the farms, and the
people would go each day more to the Hall of Complaints of the local
Lord, but there was not much he could do, while the monsters didn't
organize themselves.

In the early evening, a woman approached the Lord house, dressed in a
simple peasant's dress, with a notable hunting dagger by her side. She
was full of small and recent scratches, but the traces on her face
were beautiful, and the guards grinned nastily in her direction. The
young wench smiled, and approached, walking slowly, allowing them to
notice the curves under the dress.

- Oh, mister guards, I would be so... thankful... to the one of you
who managed to get this message to the Lord's hands...

Staring them in the eye, the woman slowly and seductively took a small
letter from her chest, and held it to them. The men jumped.

- I'll do it!
- I'll do it!

After a short fight, one of them was entering the building, while the
other looked around to see that the woman was gone. He smiled. He
wasn't getting her, but neither was Jord.

The letter read:
"Most honourable Count of Nid Tek,

I humbly urge you to check your troops equipment, for the monsters are
spread evreywhere outside your villages, and I am quite impresed they
haven't form a horde yet.

I shal do my best to kill the leeders and safe my Count the trouble,
but I am only one. Hopefuly this warning reeches you before sunrise.

Higest and humblest regards,
Tai"

Nina went to her room and got ready to sleep for a few hours before
the nightly hunt. She just hoped the handwriting of the scribe she
hired was a symbol of the quality of the text as well. Sighing, she
decided she had to learn how to write better, to save her the few
silver... In not but a couple of minutes, the wench was deeply asleep.
