Roleplay from Lek
Lek awoke before dawn feeling groggy and disoriented. Her mouth was dry
as dust, and the stub of candle that she lit seemed unnaturally bright.
She stumbled about the tent, washing herself by rote, until, with a low
cry, she froze with the cloth against her face. “Arkon’s Beard! I
started a rebellion!”
Lek cast her mind back over the last few days with a groan. She had just
been so happy! She had won back her beautiful barbarian—and between the
loving and the celebrating, Lek had had no coherent thoughts in her
head. She shivered thinking about the rising waters and her previous
conviction that the gods were punishing them. Damn Sennianus and his
poisonous herbs! Lek put her head in her hands and groaned—everything
had seemed so reasonable—the moon people! The rebellion! She was going
to kill that idiot Viking when she got her hands on him!
She dressed quickly, fuming. Perhaps if the rebellion had succeeded…but,
no…even then, Sennianus had some serious explaining to do.

Roleplay from Sennianus the Mad
Sennianus took another swig of his jug of ale and looked at a map he had
drawn up himself. It was supposed to represent the area around Sandalak
City, but it might as well have been a primitive drawing made by a
little child. He kept pointing at the map and shifting little trinkets
over its surface. In his mind, he was a great rebel general plotting his
next brilliant maneuver. To his men, he was a delusional drunk. A few of
them had wanted to leave, but the promise of gold and loot made them
stick around. Captain Caspar stood next to Sennianus and tried to play
along as best as he could, but after a while, he presented his commander
with what he claimed to be the cold hard facts: the rebellion was over,
no more fighting would happen, both sides had realised they were
fighting for nothing.
Disillusioned, Sennianus left his men in Fali and went to Sandalak City
on his own. After a long walk, during which he downed another jug of ale
and a few bowls of pipeweed, he arrived before the walls. He could see
some campfires and wobbled towards them. It didn't take him long to spot
Leks camp. Trying very hard not to make a sound, he snuck up to her
tent. The 'rebel encampment' counted one tent, and it was Leks. He
cursed the Moon People, and went inside. Without even greeting Lek, he
rolled out his selfmade map on her table.
"My love, treason is afoot! Moon agents have infiltrated Taselaks
government!", he slurred. "They have taken positions here, here and here!"
He looked at Lek. She looked back at him, without saying a word. "My
love?", Sennianus asked, wondering what was wrong.

Roleplay from Lek
Lek stared at Sennianus feeling her temperature mounting higher with
every second. “My love,” she sneered at him, “You are a drunken buffoon!
The moon people are not invading! I started a rebellion! And we lost!”
He blinked at her for a moment then returned to squinting over his
“map”. Lek stomped over, snatched the paper from the table and shredded
it, “The rebellion is OVER!” she shouted into his face. He looked into
her eyes and asked her bemusedly, “Did we win?”
Lek grabbed his shoulders and shook him. It was like trying to move a
tree, “You idiot!” she bellowed, and before she knew it, her hand was in
motion, hauling back and slapping him across the face. She gaped at him
in horror, “Oh, Sennianus, I did not mean…” His eyes seemed to regain a
bit of their focus and he grinned at her, “My love, you want to play!”
And before she could say another word, he enclosed her in his arms and
started nuzzling her neck.
Despite herself, she had to laugh, “Sennianus, what am I going to do
with you?”
“I can think of a few things,” he murmured as he kissed his way towards
her mouth.
Giving in to the inevitable, she wrapped her arms around him and met his
lips with hers. Well, there were worse ways to sober him up.
………………
Sometime later, she reluctantly untangled herself from him. Lek looked
at her sleeping lover and sighed. He really was so beautiful. But, she
wasn’t going to be so easily distracted. “Sennianus,” she sing-songed in
his ear, “Sennianus!” He mumbled something and smiled in his sleep.
“Sennianus!!” she yelled, and bit his earlobe.
“What?!” he jerked awake, grabbing for his sword before realizing where
he was. He smiled at her lazily, reaching his hand out to stroke her
face, “Yes, my love? More?”
Lek stilled his hand. “Sennianus,” she said, looking at him seriously,
“I need you to explain to me why you pretended not to know me. Why you
were going to leave me. Because we are in real trouble here, and I need
to know if you are going to run out on me again.”
