Danzi frowned, looking over the recent messages. Re-reading them, a 
puzzled expression creased her face.

"Edwin!"

"Here" the smooth deep voice calmed her.

"Are you sick?"

"No" a masculine chuckle emanated from the womans throat.

"Are you dead?"

"Don't ask crazy questions woman. Of course I'm not dead."

Danzi rubbed her forehead and squeezed her eyes shut. The strain showing 
as she ran through events in her mind. Her eyes snapped open and the 
expression was stern, though a sparkle of barely suppressed humour could 
be seen in her eyes.

"Danzi, don't go crazy on me. I am fine, Ikalak is fine... if they 
bother you, destroy the letters"

As quickly as it had disappeared, her frown returned and her eyes 
reclosed. She slowly opened them, eying the letters. Danzi felt 
uncomfortable, but one thing she was certain of was her trust in Edwin. 
The odd messages drifted from her hands into the smoldering remains of a 
fire burning a fiery red before disappearing into black ash.
