When a flash of pale hair caught her eye, Lek’s stomach lurched as 
always.  She forced herself to look away and breathe until her racing 
heart slowed.  There were far too many fair-haired people in the world 
to be fretted every time she saw one in the distance.  Still, she turned 
to look again, this hair had been very pale, so pale as to be almost 
white in the afternoon sun.  Lek stood still, so very still.  The tangle 
of hair *was* white and attached to a tall length of naked Viking.  She 
closed her eyes and opened them slowly.  It was him.

Lek wanted to laugh; she wanted to cry; she wanted to shout.  She wanted 
to throw herself at his feet, or into his arms.  Instead, she just stood 
there, in silence, trembling as Sennianus Andrasta walked towards her.

Roleplay from Sennianus the Mad

He had seen her in the distance, but had pretended not to. He had 
recognized her even before recognizing the sword she carried on her hip. 
His heart was racing and his knees felt as weak as the first time she 
had called him to her. His fair Lek... He tried to act as nonchalant as 
possible, but his mind was occupied elsewhere. What would she say to 
him? Would he be able to resist her? Sennianus casually cast a glance in 
her direction. For a brief moment, their eyes crossed. She had seen him 
as well, and she was looking at him with both excitement and 
desperation. When she started moving towards him, was nailed to the ground.

He stopped walking.  Lek felt like crying.  He still didn’t know her. 
But surely, when he had caught her eye, she had seen…something.  Some 
recognition…some love?  Or was that just wishful thinking.  She moved 
towards him, controlling her urge to launch herself at him, and trying 
very hard to smile.

“Sennianus,” she greeted him, “It’s about damn time!”
