[RPG] [Dwi]Dio - A Dark Journey

/Diodorus stood at the //helm of //the ship bound for Dwilight, watching 
the waves become increasingly rough as the skies darkened. He stared 
uneasily - the sea's motion did not agree with him entirely, and as it 
began to lightly rain, he muttered excuses to the captain before 
retiring below decks.

As he descended, the sun finally sank entirely past the line of the 
horizon. the sun winked itself out, and darkness fell like an axe. Many 
of the sailors looked uneasy, but kept the course.

Below decks, Diodorus sighed as he drifted into unconsciousness. A dream 
landscape stretched  before him, a desolate waste with a still river and 
a bridge. A lady stood at the other side, and with a shock of 
recollection, Diodorus realised it to be the Lady of Ikalak, watching 
him directly. Not knowing what to do, he approached and called to the lady./

"Hail, lady! What brings you here!"

/The lady smiled implacably, and shot him a look filled with 
understanding. Baffled, not to mention a tad intimidated, Diodorus 
addressed her again./

"Who are you? What do you want?"

/At this, the lady grinned. Suddenly, a flash blinded him and he awoke, 
in pitch black darkness. He sat bolt upright, and opened his eyes, but 
nothing appeared to him. He tried to move, but could not. Involuntarily, 
he lay back down, as a voice seemed to speak to him out of his mind, 
laughing somewhat.

/"Oh Diodorus... you're mine now, until I say otherwise. Enjoy the ride! 
It's going to be fun. I promise..."/
