Keffer's threats may be empty (or, at least, Jenred thought they were), 
but they had still shaken Jenred a bit.  He had known this was a 
dangerous path, but there's knowing and there's knowing.  And now, 
well...They always said death turned the mind toward life...

And, the practice by which life might be, ahem, continued.

And, to the person one might like to continue life with...

Regardless of whether one felt as if one was old enough to be the father 
of this one...

And whether he was insane for trying something so soon...

But who knew how long he'd have...?

And, by the Aenil, she's so damned attractive...Those freckles just made 
him want to li-

Jenred blushed.  The LAST thing he needed now was to have his mind 
clouded, he should be looking for an escape route, so he could go back 
home...

Home where she would be...

And maybe home in her arms...

And maybe home in her le-

Oh, damn and blast.

This is going to be very, very hard.
