Fetz had been side-tracked on his way to Ozrat to find that captain by
monsters in Upasael. He had heard of the monsters in Larodais, but doubted
he would even be able to have his men get close enough to the monsters
before the mass of troops there surrounded them.

It would take a day either way, so he decided to take the long route through
Hosiel instead of Pesol on the off chance he would find a captain there who
could deliver the letter.
