Eowyn sat in her tent. The men were restless. It had been too long since 
they'd had their blades drawn for anything more than practice-training.

The peasants had quieted down - after she'd heard passing mentions of 
Sir Freidroch and Lady Ain while wandering past the impertinent locals, 
nothing had been heard. Perhaps the peasantry was tired of such large 
encampments nearby and were entertaining themselves with gossip and 
tawdry rumours...but Ain had just departed and Freidroch was observing a 
period of silence. The realm had lost a wonderful fighter, and Eowyn 
wondered if the petty peasants had anything to do with...no. Lady Ain 
was too strong a warrior to respond to such things, certainly.

So, things were quiet. Eowyn unrolled the latest message from the 
Marshall. Doldrums coming to an end, it suggested. She could only hope.

Reaching for her sword, Eowyn slowly stood up and stretched. Maybe some 
sparring with Voltz would take away some of the tension between her 
shoulders. Though she didn't look forward to telling her men that they'd 
be sitting encamped for another day. Yet another day...
