Reports come in of a scuffle in a backstreet in the city of Barad 
Gardor. One peasant, from Menedor, was reported by some other local 
peasants to have picked a fight with a Barad Gardor man, fighting over 
whether Menedor was a region so poor and insignificant that its nobles 
were bankrupt. The small incident was dealt with quickly, and the men 
kept away from each other.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the city, a wife, just back from 
visiting her friends in Anfalas, was telling her husband with great 
animation all about the fact that Dame Eowyn was expecting a Tinsley 
child - and what a shock that was!
