Ain smelt the familiar aroma even before the Duchess was fully into the
room; she would know that Melmoor cheese anywhere. She started salivating:
that was a mighty fine cheese. For a moment, her attention was distracted…

"Wait…what did you say? No cheese in the city?!" She recovered herself with
some difficulty, "Your Grace…thank you for the welcome…My journey was…you
know…on a ship and stuff. It's mighty good of you to help me out." Her hand
eyes strayed to the cheese, "You say that Jens was here, then? And he'll be
coming back? So…what do you reckon? Will it be soon, or should I go after
him? Be a bit silly to rush about if he's going to be here soon….wait…he
gave you this cheese as a gift?"

Ain felt a bit…odd…about that. Jens loved that cheese…he wouldn't give it
away to just…anyone…would he? He'd given some to her before…she looked at
the Duchess with her golden-red hair and her fancy gown…maybe…Jens…liked
that. Well.

"I wouldn't mind doing a bit of trading at that, your Grace. I've rather a
fancy to see a bit of the world, and we can't be having a city with no
cheese. Next you'll be telling me there's no ale."

Lady Ain Kindon (Noble)

"Yes that cheese was a gift from Jens, but you may take it with you if you'd
like. That should last a few days travel along with some bread, I will have
those prepared." Annaej smiled, "I do not expect Jens back for a few days,
it may be quicker if you went after him." Amelie handed the purse of coins
to Ain and took the silver platter beside her into the Kitchen to be wrapped
up. "There are some caravans available for hire at the trading center to the
west. You may alway want to drop by the recruitment centers and training
grounds to the north to gather an escort of your cheeses." With that Annaej
lifted herself from the seat and began towards the door. "Will you be
leaving now? Or resting for the day?" Annaej said gesturing towards the door
then the archway leading to the second floor guest room.
