There is no war, here, it is simply a formality that allows us to do a
TO of the region. Lord Halcyon wishes Akanos returned to Lasanar [ooc:
and this silly game won't allow you to hand over a capital region], so
we proceed on that path.

Ohnar is a legitimate realm, founded by Duke Esorp Motab. "Emperor"
Halcyon is an a coward who stole the rulership from him.

Because of this, Ohnar West cannot agree with you taking over Akanos.

Prime Minister Adelina,

Because the current ruler of another realm isn't to your liking, you
don't like what we are doing to that realm? Akanos is the business of
Ohnar, not the business of Ohnar West.

I have no quarrel with either Esorp or Halcyon. Their fight is their
own. I deal with Halcyon because he is the ruler of Ohnar. He comes to
us because he sees a great need.

I'm about to step down, so I will put this out quickly without much
flourish and fanfare. Akanos will fall to Lasanar, Arcaea, Sartania or
Ethiala sometime in the very near future. Someone is going to take it.
Perhaps even Ohnar West has designs on Akanos, which I do not doubt,
as Esorp is now among you. However, the honest truth is, I doubt you
will be allowed to keep it, even if your ally Ethiala, who just
coincidentally I'm sure has started a TO of Pesol in the same day you
send out this declaration of yours, will most likely allow you to hold
it for a time, before bargaining you off to the highest bidder as a
peace token or alliance token. All this talk of alliances and suppoort
is for naught. All the splinttering of Lasanar did is make us that
much easier for the other realms to pick-off one by one. It is no
longer a matter of whether or not I agree with Slim, you, Esorp,
Halcyon or Milan because, quite honestly, while I was willing to
respect your decisions to separate, I don't agree with it. Lasnar had
issues, to be sure, but there was a better way to handle them. The
result of all of this? Ethiala struts around displaying all of the
traits that made Lasanar so hated a few short weeks ago. All that
we've accomplished is to put a different monster in place...one that
is less likely to try and work through the issues at hand to a noble
end.

I've no desire to start a quarrel with you as I leave, but I would
urge you to think well on this. Fight us if you must. Lasanar wishes
no war with you, despite what I'm sure are the urgings of your new
ally. You've traded one collar for another. The sooner you recognize
that, the better off we all will be.

Lady Adelina,

I hardly stole the throne, as, ah you will recall I was elected,
making it rather hard for me to steal the throne. You will also
remember that Lord Esorp came in power again. Before you say I stole
anything, you should get your facts right, and at least show some
courteousness to my 'cowardly' self.

Grand Duke Dieter,
Rulers of the Far East,

The duchies of Sasrhas and Akanos seceded at almost the same time.
Both duchies disapproved of the Lasanarian government then and their
decision to go to war against Ethiala. We could not become the same
realm because we lost our bordering region back then, but we were
meant to be a federation.

However, "Emperor" Halcyon became the ruler of Ohnar after being the
only one to vote in a quick and unfair election. There was no notice
that the election would happen, so no one else had the chance to vote.

This is the reason for Ohnar West's declaration of war against Ohnar.

Let it be clear, though, that we do not intend to play "brave and
courageous when fighting the weak", as Sir Dieter claims. We declared
war when our conditions were the same.

Ohnar West never intended to destroy any other realm.

Yet, Ohnar has weakened itself under "Emperor" Halcyon's rule without
ever going into battle against us.

Now Lasanar has declared war on Ohnar and plans to destroy it. Ohnar
will be no more after they take over Akanos.
