Amelie gazed at the flowers, her head propped up with her arms upon the
table. So she had found Jens, or rather he had found her. That night, or
what she could remember of it had entwined itself with each of her thoughts.
Was it wrong? sending that letter while Annaej was still away.

A knock came at the door. That must be Jens she thought, straightening her
dress. No sooner than she had poured the glasses of wine, the rugged man was
led into the room. With a wave of her hand she dismissed the other servants.
"Welcome to the ducal estate. Dinner will be ready shortly. While we wait
should we have a quick tour," Amelie said handing a glass to Jens.
