[RPG] Deliverance

*When the messenger brought Quinn the glorious news of the deamons'
departure from Dyomoque, the Duke was standing in his ruined courtroom with
the bloody remains of two weeks of occupation still visible all around him.
The massive corpse of a lesser Daemon recently slain still lay in the center
of the hall, its blood a thick carpet on the marble floor.*

*He slowly sank to his knees and closed his eyes. He steadied himself with
his left hand upon the floor and brought his right to his chest, the
bloodied hand clenched to a fist.*

"At long last..." *he whispered...* "Thank you, oh lord, thank you for our
deliverance..." *...as he collapsed to the floor, exhausted.*
