*"I know I am on the verge of being broke you fool!

Go back and tend to your paper work, before I have some mishap befall upon
you as well.

Leave me now you fool!"

*Shouted Gunther as he stepped out of his room to speak with the healers
that had come to collect their weekly pay.

the look on their faces were that of most commoners that were about to
receive gold, but as he stepped out of the room and they overheard his
conversation with his scribe they quickly turned to faces of regret and
distrust.

*"My lord if we have come at a bad time maybe we should return to our home
and come at a more opportune time for you."*

Waving his hand he dismissed they fears with thought. To Gunther they were
more important to him now they they ever had seen in the past. because in
the past taking care of his mistakes involved more than the claims of birth
rights to some bastard child or some cut up kitchen girl who did not do as
she was told.

No this time it meant much more to him to make sure these two scoundrels who
claimed the profession of healer were happy and well paid for their work and
their secrets.

*"you will always be welcome pay no heed to what you may have heard from
that stupid man in there he knows nothing of our arrangements and will never
be a factor to your pay or your silence. And silence is what i expect most
of all from the lot of you. Do you understand?"*

the two men started to speak but Gunther silenced them and handed them both
a small bag of gold and bid them way quickly.

Here is your next four weeks pay I expect to have news of your companies
progress or should I say regression in status soon and then this all will be
left behind us soon."

the two nodded and quickly walk away.

As he started back into the room he mumbled to himself.

*"I should have killed the worthless bitch when I had the chance."*
