A note on trout and herring fishing in the region of Perdan Mines

In keeping with the present financial upheaval, I have decided, as the 
Lord of Perdan Mines, to levy a special tax on herring.

It is well known that the rare red herring is a typical product of 
Perdan mines. Many culinary specialties of the region are based on this 
fish, and unconventional uses (i.e. slapping) have increasingly been 
reported.

The reason for a new tax are to be found in the noted scarcity of the 
red herring, and the suspect it is being driven into exinction. Money 
raised will be reinvested to augment the stocks. A call for proposals on 
how to augment the stocks of herring, and particularly red herring, can 
be found in the Custom Departments of Perdan Mines, under the direction 
of Sir Tiest (aka The Knight of the Red Herring)

Trouts, on the other hand, are not enpirelled. however I have decided to 
put in force a monitoring of the stocks of this other valuable resource. 
Sir Atticus will be in charge of the Trout Management Task Force. 
Applications for proposals should be directed to his estate.
