[RPG] [EI] [Perdan] The meal

Evangeline graciously accepted the seat offered by Duke Screndt and 
watched as the tall and wizened Duke sat opposite her.

"Thankyou for inviting me to eat with you Duke Screndt.  It certainly 
was too long before I could accept your kind invitation", she said while 
waiting patiently for the servants to fill goblets of wine.

As the servants bustled quietly out of the room she thought she could 
smell the horrid stench of broccoli cooking.  The thought made her choke 
a litte and she hoped privately to herself that it was only a small 
floret on the side of her plate that she could discretely skirt around.

No sooner than the thought crossed her mind the servants returned 
placing a broccoli and crab bisque on the table in front of them.  The 
colour reminded her of Murdo's nappies when he had been sick and she 
shuddered slightly at the generous serving.  Heavily swallowing, 
Evangeline forced a smile,

"Duke Screndt, already this meal is becoming something I won't forget"

Lifting the silver, polished spoon she daintily began to sip the bisque, 
trying avoid as much green as possible without being obvious.
