[RPG] [EC] Caligus - The Wedding - Vlad, Veni, Revelation, Gwynyth, Cartor

The anouncement.

Greetings Rulers of the Isle,
Please forward This message to your nobles:

I write you today with a heart full of joy, and a mind empty of worries.
Noblews of the East continent, The rumours are true, A Noble twin is born in
Partora.
They are both born healthy and with not too much pain for the mother.

This morning I oficialy declared them Citizens of Partora at the local town
hall under the names:

*Iwann & Sea Nosferatus*

A Tournament has been anounced for it's celibration.
Your all welcome to join

There will be no oficial baptise or so forth, We are both no folowers of any
church nor religion except the Sanctus Acies wich has no norms or
traditions.
We believe the child should have a free choice of Religion when it grows up.

But thats not all...

I would also like to make another anouncement.

Veni and I are going to marry under the state crown of Caligus during the
opening of the Tournament.
There will be a bachlor party during the whole period before the oficial
opening of the tournament for all you party animals out there!

I hope to see you all.
And I hope I can share my happyness with all of you during the celibration.

Vlad and Veni (Royal)


The day before the wedding.

Many preperations had been made, the sqaure with the stone circle in Partora
would be the place for the Ceremony.

still witha heavy head form the day before, Vlad walked down a couple of
blocks heading for the palace.
The cirage wasn't ready yet, while tomorow was the big day.

Yes, Vlad was nervous, very nervous.
It had to go perfect, and not seeing his Veni for 3 days was really though
for him.

When he checked on the rings he smiled.
Gwynyth would be his witness, his best 'man'.
Some found it strange when they heard it, "A Women" They said.
"No, Gwyntyh..." he always replied.
Vlad had such great respect for Gwynyth, he didnt care about Tradition, he
wanted her to be his witness.

Sudnely his scribe came in the room.

"Lord, your armour has been prepared, are you ready?"

Vlad turned aorund.

*"What do you mean?"*

"The Tournament Lord, You planned to show off right now."

Vlad laughed.
*"I almost forgot, hehe, lead me to my sword Fredrich"*

*Minutes later when the Warrior was dressed, he walked outside towards the
Tournament grounds.*
There where many people, because they all knew only the best come to show
off 2 days before the opening.
Some even just arived.

As Vlad entered the Swordfighting grounds, people started to cheer and sing
traditional Caligan songs on mariage and birth, while others are just
singing a song about there last evening at the hidden inn where they enjoyed
Caligan hospitality.

at the moments the sound of the hrons faded, Vlad began to swung his sword,
but this time, not aiming on his enemies, but aiming on thin air, wich would
be the last swing as a single man...

The wedding.

The week of festivities had gone well.

Many spent time in training, showing off their skills to the gathering
crowds, some where very impressive some not so much. The Stone Circle in
Partora, however had been a hive of activity, the ladies in waiting working
like bees, pages running messages to and fro. All the details that Veni had
wanted were being completed.

The morning of the wedding came very quickly, as a former King of Caligus
Vlad held the rank of Royal, and as such was given the Royal treatment of
one becoming of his rank. He left from the Palace in a golden carriage
pulled by six white stallions, all wearing a blanket with the red Rose on
it, his old Family crest.
The carriage was accompanied by 18 soldiers, all battle-hardened veterans
personally picked by Sir Vlad him self.

The streets where lined by cheering crowds throw rose petals thrown in front
of the carriage as it passed. Vlad in all his glory waved to the as many in
the crowd as he could.

The journey seemed short, and before he knew it the carriage was pulled up
in front of the Stone Circle. From the circle a yellow carpet embossed with
the Red Lion descended from the top of the small hill to the door of the
carriage. The footmen regally stepped off the carriage and one of them set
steps before the carriage door, the other opened the door. As Vlad made his
way onto the carpet he waved again to the crowds that had gathered while his
cape flaps in the wind.
There he was accompanied by Lady Gwynyth, former Queen of Caligus, one of
the longest members of the Caligan Royalty, who would be Vlads witness
during the ceremony.

More cheering could be heard coming from the city. Veni had begun her
journey through the streets. Vlad and his witness Gwynyth started the short
walk up the hill, Gwynyth both smiled and dropped a few tears during the
entire ceremony. Standing at the top of the hill was Revelation who was to
perform the ceremony, he was flanked with Reona, Louis and Ilphramouth, all
dressed in battle ready white armour and ceremonial daggers at their side.

The crowd had fallen silent, the nobles, Knights and Royalty where seated
according to rank, With King Doombringer siting on a throne right parallel
to where Revelation was standing, accompanied by Queen Evangeline of Perdan.
It was a crisp morning which would turn into a perfect spring day. Veni's
carriage pulled up, Vlad did not look back, they had been together for a
long time but he looked nervous in an excited way.

Whispers from the crowd could be heard as Veni made her way up the small
hill, to take her position beside her husband to be, she takes Vlads arm
both take a step forward to stand in front of Revelation.

Revelation speaks, "Welcome all to the marriage of Vlad and Veni, this is
indeed a glorious day to hold such a wedding and no better place to have the
wedding. As these stones form a circle so it is with life and love, no
matter where your journey begins eventually you come back again to the
beginning and the cycle starts over again. Today Vlad and Veni begin their
journey of life together". Two gold rings rest in the hands of Lady Gwynyth.
"Vlad do you take Veni as your wife, to love, to hold forsaking all others"
Vlad reaches forward and takes the ring from Gwynyths hand, "I do" replies
Vlad, as he places the ring on her finger, "Veni do you take Vlad as your
husband, to love, to hold and forsaking all others", Veni reaches forward
picks up Vlads ring "I do", replies Veni, and slides it onto his.

Louis, Reona and Ilphramouth step forward, "With the blood of our
forefathers" those in white pulls the daggers from the sheaths and pulls it
across their right hand to let blood flow freely, to let the blood fall on
the stone table "With great honour I now pronounce you man and wife, may the
heroes look down upon you and protect you."

The crowds cheer, as man and wife walk down the hill.
Marking the Beginning of a powerful and lovely family.
And Marking the beginning of a great day, The opening of the Tournament.

Cartor swallowed profoundly when Vlad and Veni walked towards Revelation,
while standing in the midst of the closest group of aquaintances. He heard a
woman behind him wispering to her friend, "*Look at that dress, have you
ever seen something so gorgeous?*" Her friend gniffled, "*Isn't Vlad cute
like that? In love?*" Cartor grinned picturing Vlad's reaction if someone
had said that to him in person, catching the angry looks of the two women
who were irritated that he had followed their conversation. Cartor
straightened his face and coughed hoping that would do as an apology.

Erica that had been standing next to him looked at him, "I hope your not
going to catch a cold. It's a bit early in the morning to be dressed so
light like you are." Cartor wavered his hand, "*It's nothing... Really.*"
Erica was dressed in a blue gown, the bottom a bit wet from the dew. She
looked just like the attractive young woman she was, and Cartor had already
noticed some young men 'checking her out'. He hadn't mind, there had
happened something between them through time that had somehow separated
them. If it were the major diffrence in age, or the freedom they lived at,
he didn't know.

Vlad and Veni had reached Revelation and were performing the ceremony. After
the ceremony, all guests were trying to congratiulate Veni and Vlad, and
Cartor and Erica had a hard time reaching them. When they finally did,
Cartor took Vlad off guard with a hug, "*You really did it! You got married!
I can't believe it... Did I already mentioned you two look cute together?*"
Vlad frowned but before he could react Cartor patted his back, "*Sorry, I
just wanted to see your face when I said it.*" Veni smiled at him and laid
her arm around Vlad's waist, laying her head against his shoulder. Vlad
immediatly brightened up by the touch and grinned at Cartor, "*Well, I'm
glad you two made it to the marriage. Eventhough your low standards of
humor.*"

Cartor nodded, "*Always present when needed!*" Erica caught his attention
and Cartor gasped, "*Right, right, I brought you a present, I'd better give
it to you before anyone else with the same gift gets to you before I do.*"
He grabbed in his pocket and took out four bracelets, "*I know it's an odd
thing to give, but I thought you'd appreciated it.*" All four bracelets were
crafted from red jasper into the form of a rose. Cartor laid them in Vlad's
hand, "*It's the emblem of your family, carved by the most experienced
crafters of the Ubentian mountains. There are four of them, two or the newly
wed couple and two for the newly born children. I wouldn't mind if you
didn't want to wear them, maybe they are a bit to bright and showy...*"

When Vlad looked at the Bracelets he smiled, he smiled like never before.
He looked back to Cartor and in a sudden rush, hugged him.
Cartor scared off but hugged him back, he didnt really know how to react in
this situation, he was used to Vlad's coldness instead of his 'happy hugging
side'.

Vlad chuckled.
"This symbol means alot to me Cartor, it defines my nobility, it defines my
family honour, and you made four of them, as a special bracelet to the
family Veni and I are growing up from today!"

Vlad looked back to Cartor
"Cartor, thank you... I don't know what to say or give you back, as long as
you know, this means alot for me..."

Suddenly a Royal gaurd sliped threw the people standing around Vlad.
"Sir! We must move along, or else you will get stuck in this crowd M'Lord"
Many people where gathering around Veni and Vlad, coming from everywhere in
the city, the stream of people didnt stop.
A noble wedding was always a glorious thing alone, but to see there brave
former King Vlad marry, atracted even more people.

And So Cartor and Vlad drifted apart, with Vlad and Veni heading for Veni's
estate close to the Palace.
Heading back to there baby's.
