screndt2 rose upon Duke Oliver's arrival in the room and gave him a
hearty hug, "It has been a while, Oliver. It is good to see you
again."

"It is great to see you, too, screndt2," he replied with a smile. "How
fares Eretzism in Enweil?"

screndt2 frowned, "Not as good as I wish. Recently, the peasants took
a very marked interest in the size of the Temples in their regions. We
have been losing thousands of peasants a day because of this. The
treasury is now taking quite a beating with the lack of their
donations."

screndt2 smiled, "But on the positive side, the ones that are still
members are very devout. They actually make use of the Temples thrice
daily."

"And, my friend, how fares Iato? I saw the battle reports of when the
daimons came. The men fought bravely and were rousted. Though from
what I hear of the daimons, it was to be expected. One thing I was
very glad to see was that the men fought with full morale due to your
readings. Tell me, Oliver, where did you get such a relic?"
