[RPG] [BT] A Chance Discovery

As the light from the day fades, the locals light their candles, pile wood
on their fireplaces, and generally keep off the streets.

Not only due to ruffians, but, for the locals of Joppo, the tales off huge
Undead armies marching through the city are only tempered by the sheer
number of "hunters" that have arrived - driven by tales of fame to be won,
silver to be "found", and mystic items held by Undead Champions, these
treasure hunters are not the most fined of society.

Which, when one of the new arrivals stopped by a local bookstore, the owner,
(an old veteran of some forgotten war) was shocked. Browsing a bit, Michal
picked up the random collection of fairy tales, recipe books, and the
occasional monster classification tome.

"Hello..." Michal muttered under his breath, "what's this?"

Running his hands over the leather binding, it seemed to call out to him.

'The Journal of the Second Undead Invasion - authored by Marc Keithson'

"Well, I've got some time to kill..." Michal thought to himself, smirking
slightly at his pun. "might as well read it."

Several hours later, and long past curfew, Michal finishes the journal...
and stumbles outside to be met - and arrested - by a patrol of militiamen.

Now, he'll have plenty of time to ponder the words, names, and places he
spent the last hours reading.
