Senoske woke, and rose from his bed, picking up Arken and Arkenine. It was
time. He grabbed his book and left his tent, pushing aside his healer
"Irrelevant." was Senoske's reply to the healers comments about the health
risks of going out now. He had a mission. Senoske walked up to the enterance
of the Mother Hall of ~V~ and laid Arkenine on the ground in front of it.
Senoske flipped to a page in the book Ziode had given him and read a few
lines aloud, in an old tongue. Senoske knelt, continuing his chanting, and
drew Arken. Senoske brought the sword up high, and then brought it down,
with the force of a thousand hammers upon a single anvil, and shattered
Arkenine. Arken's blade snapped in two, and it was done. Arkenine was in
pieces, and would no longer plague the world. Senoske picked them up and
buried them in the nearby forest. He then returned to the ~V~ hall and began
to repair his sword. Senoske emerged hours later, panting, with the reforged
Arken in hand. The blade however, seemed lifeless, just as lifeless as
Arkenine. It was a sacrifice Senoske knew had to be made. Arken's spirit was
destroyed along with Arkenine's. So he believed anyway.
