[RPG] [SWI][Ik] Alanna Anaris ~ Unwelcome Arrival

Alanna screams at the captain, "WHY didn't you TELL me this ship was  
going to Ikalak?"

The captain, bewildered and terrified, blubbers, "Bu-but, mi'lady,  
you said you didn't care where we were going!  You said /not/ to tell  
you!"

Alanna seethes.  Of all the cursed, benighted places to land, I end  
up back here!  This is where I was trying to get away from in the  
first place!  This is the place that stole my soul, my very self from  
me!

With an angry shake of her head, she dismisses the captain and heads  
back below to collect her belongings.  As she gets them together and  
slings the bags across her back, she starts to calm down, thinking,  
Perhaps this, too, can be turned into something good...perhaps I have  
come back here to show that I can be in Ikalak without becoming  
Ikalak...

Perhaps I have been brought here to expiate my failure...
