Roleplay from Danzi

Danzi held the crumpled note in her hand, she had found it in the 
garbage, screwed into a ball.

"Danzi, my life, body, and heart are broken by Ikalak. Ikalak has fallen 
into a state of chaos and mistrust, lies and arrogance. I am leaving for 
so many reasons, one could hardly begin to start. I thought you would 
see the answers within the text of my resignation speech. While it was 
not bold, one could see what I eluded to. I do not say goodbye, I am 
simply gone."

She ran her fingers over the text, over Edwin's broken seal.  He had 
been about to leave, how come she couldn't remember reading this?

She felt the familiar presence behind her, the warmth and comfort spread 
over her body as he spoke to her.

"I changed my mind" he said smoothly.

"And Ikalak?  Did you change your mind about her also?"

"Yes.  People make mistakes, loyalty and love have the power to forgive. 
  Stop looking back.  Lets move forward.  What of the contract?"

"I haven't heard from him since" Danzi said a little disappointed.

"Well, you have never needed gold as an incentive to stab before"

"Indeed" Danzi grinned with a sneer. It was a smile that would make even 
the most battle hardened warrior shudder.
