The boy pointed out Sennianus’ encampment and Lek sent him on his way, 
tipping him from her meagre stash of coins. As she approached the 
campfire, she heard voices and saw two figures alternately dipping 
themselves down into a barrel. “Those rats!” she thought, “They’ve 
started drinking ale without me!”

Lynch greeted her, "G'day Lek, want some ale?"

She peered down into the barrel, "Is there even any left? Hand me that 
mug, Sennianus."

Sennianus, looking confused, failed to acknowledge her request. "Hey! 
Snap out of it and give me some ale!"

Roleplay from Sennianus the Mad

In a flash, Sennianus regained his composure. He saw Lynch, his hair 
soaked with ale, and realised he had lost the contest. Then, he saw Lek, 
and he forgot what the contest was even about. He stared into her icy 
blue eyes for a few moments.

"Earth to naked barbarian!" she said loudly.

Sennianus was startled. "Huh? What?"

"It's rude not to offer a lady a drink, you know! Now stop standing 
around like that, and give me a drink!" Lek said.

"Oh, right..." he mumbled, and he gave her the mug. Lynch stood behind 
her and tried to hide his grin.

Lynch saw his cue to exit and stepped backwards, just out of firelight 
and walked away, thinking about the battle to come...
