Roleplay from Sennianus the Mad
Sennianus woke up, feeling surprisingly cold considering the last thing
he remembered was falling asleep next to Lek with a warmth he'd never
felt before. Suddenly, he realised he was lying on a pallet in the open
air. Dozens of soldiers marched nearby.

"What in Odin's name..." he mumbled. He turned to see where Lek was, but
all he saw was a little note on the pillow next to him. He took it and
started reading.

My dear Sennianus,

Since you were sleeping like a little baby, I decided not to wake you
up. I believe it would have been a fool's errand to do so, since you
slept through half an hour of my men breaking up camp all around you.

I'm heading north with the army, I suggest you try to catch up, lest you
miss out on any fun.

Your fair Lek.

"Fun... Boy, I hope she means what I hope she means!" he said to
himself, before jumping up and racing back to his own camp and setting off.

"Where to, sir?" captain Rudel asked.

Sennianus stared at the northern horizon, and the only thing going
through his mind was Lek. "Abykal... and I want to arrive there
yesterday..."

Sennianus the Mad Andrasta (Knight of Sandalak)

Roleplay from Lek

Lek awoke instantly before dawn from long habit, though she couldn't
have slept for more than an hour or two. She stole just a few more
minutes to luxuriate in the solid warmth of Sennianus' arms around her
before slipping reluctantly out into the chill of the tent.

She could hear her men moving about outside, packing up for the next
trek. Lek lit a stub of candle, and could see that her basin had been
filled with warm water as she liked. Hmmm, must have been a surprise to
see a man still here in her tent in the morning; it had never been her
habit to let anyone stay.

Lek washed and dressed quickly watching the sleeping man the whole time.
No one who had seen him on the battlefield would ever believe how gentle
and sweet he could be--though they might believe how wild and passionate
he could also be. What a great big, beautiful contradiction he was.

"My lady?" She turned to see her captain gingerly poking his head into
the tent. "Everything is packed but your tent," he looked pointedly at
the sleeping Sennianus. "Pack it up," Lek said. "I don't think you'll
wake him," and she busied herself gathering her equipment.

Dawn had broken. Nothing was left of her camp but the ashes of the fire,
and her pallet full of sleeping Viking. Lek knelt beside Sennianus and
laid a note on the pillow and pressed a kiss to his lips.

It was time to put away the woman and put the warrior back on. War
called, and she wasn't certain when she would see him again. Lek wished
she could understand why that bothered her so much, why she felt so
much. Hildy--gods keep him--had always told her that no man was special.
She was starting to think that maybe Hildy was wrong.

She hefted her gear, "Move it out, boys," she called and walked away
with more than one backward glance.

Letter from Sennianus the Mad
My love,

Last night was by far the best I've ever had... and I've had some good
nights.

I cannot wait to see you again.

Sennianus the Mad Andrasta (Knight of Sandalak)

Roleplay from Lek
(Personal message to Sennianus the Mad)
Sennianus,

Last night was such a wonderful surprise; you are such a wonderful
surprise; I am at loss for words.

I don't know when I'll see you again, but know that I will be thinking
of you.

When you look at me, I do feel like,

Your fair Lek
