META: Luyten and Phellan have already shared correspondance concerning the
Church of Nergal, Luyten now prepares to write a response to the most recent
missive.

"The Church of Nergal" Luyten muttered to himself in disgust as he paced
back and forth within his great pavillion on the road to Zonasa.

"My sister...." he hissed with even greater fury "a follower of
that....obscenity!"

Luyten's revelations concerning the Church of Nergal, and Celina's
involvement, had not been kind to him as his mood soured considerably. The
letters from his deranged sister Teniel concerning the wars on the
South-West were not comforting and he had now ordered every letter from her
to be burnt before it even reached him.

"How could she do this to my family? To my father?!" Luyten's voice rising
to a boom as he slammed his fist upon the makeshift table of his suite,
smashing it to splinters.

"If Phellan wants to know about that obscene cult, then he will damned well
have it!" Luyten thought out loud to himself "this war is bad enough as it
is without the discord of Nergal corrupting the hearts of the last remaining
true Nobles in Nighthelm."

"Celina....hah! Tried to sneak her way into the Far East with such filth, I
will let the world know what she is. A sister to Gul'Dan she might be, but
that will not save her, to hold such thoughts is a blight upon nobility" he
cried, looking around for something else to break.

His continued rage was interrupted however, as his captain Rufus and a
scribe, entered the room abruptly apparently not concerned by the shattered
remains of the wooden table he had made only a few hours earlier. The scribe
however was not so cavalier and cowered behind the burly armour-clad man.

"What is it Rufus?" Luyten, regaining his composure, said through gritted
teeth, still surprised by this sudden and unexplained entrance "you are
lucky that your father served me so well else I might have had you flogged
for this intrusion."

"My Lord, I do only your will in this troubled world" Rufus replied with a
stiff bow, finally observing the necessary requirements of obesience "I have
brought the scribe you requested."

He stepped away from the timid little man who had been so comforted by
Rufus' close proximity, and placement between himself and the somewhat
agitated Duke of Nahad.

"Ah yes!" Luyten said moving towards a chair which formerly had a table in
front of it "you have work to do my little friend. Fetch another table
Rufus, I have a letter to write to the Duke of Masahakon."

"Yes my Lord" Rufus said, bowing and saluting his Lord with a crash as his
gauntleted fist hit the heavy breastplate of his armour, and then retiring
to the outside world and the nearest handy tree.
