[RPG] Defenders of Anacan 'Lu'an's last stand': The Duel

  Valius shakes his head slightly.  “I was judged long ago Lu’an, and I was found guilty, and sentenced to exile.  That is why I am here
on this island, and teaching those with honor about the path.  I dedicated my life to honor.  I but it on the line each and every day
. just as I do now.  Lu’an, brother, return to the path with me.  Let us walk it together as we once did.”
   
  It was then that Valius saw the hate in Lu’ans eyes
the coldness.  There was neither love nor joy that he saw, only hate and lothing.  Val did not know if Lu’an knew it or not
but the former ruler of the commonwealth had lost his soul to the chaos

   
  Lowering his sword to his side, Val looked again at his former friend.  “Lu’an, I fall to you today so that you may think about my life for the rest of yours
.and by that, you come to find again the path.”
   
  Charging forward, Valius swung his blade upward across the length of his body in a long arch.  It was designed to miss, yet to force a defensive strike.

  Valius lay in his own blood, his last breaths coming in short puffs as he tried to speak with his captain.
   
  “T..Take word to the halls
  Now it the time for.r unification.  Stand firm in Honor and do not accept darkness
.and tell Sarig and Valdrix and the elders..that to find the key to the path, they must traverse the eyes of the darkness

  (Poor Valius.  Hero sense some time in 2003, he has consistently been the character I was “almost” ready to delete many times.  Yet when he arrived on the FEI, he started to become interesting.
   
  Thru the founding of ~V~ and IC detication against darkness, I think Valius has helped to shape the island
.I will miss him.)
