[RPG] The Fallen Lady

Valius had little time before the duel was to take place. He and his warriors had just arived in Ansopen, and altho the journy was long it did not matter in the view of his honor.

Ariving at the dueling ring, he studied the 4' deep arena to make sure all obstacles had been removed and there would be no stones to trip a persons feet.

With his inspection done, he moved to stand at the side of the ring which would house his personal healers, to focus his mind.

"The darker, evil emotions of mankind, rage...hate, must be removed from a warriors spirit." He thought.

"Thru the physical actions of a Duel, the emotions are dissapated, just as stringht of body wanes from the mussles...so does the chaos."

Val blocked out the noise as nobles and officers arived and began placing their banners around the ring.

"Who was this warrior who challenged me? I remember her only as Maltheos friend in the Grand Lodge... More then a friend perhaps?... No matter, she is an honorable warrior today, just as Maltheo was when he came."
