Evangeline listened to the serene and regal Pontifex speak as she handed 
her the title of Beziers.

Looking Evangeline directly in the eyes she said to her,

"Evangeline may we grow together as friends and more as time passes so 
that peace on this continent can be realized fully."

Looking around at the people of Beziers she saw their sad faces and some 
murmurs of dissent and unhappiness.  Evangeline knew that given time and 
proper care, they would come to love Ibladesh as much as they now loved 
Perdan.

"Pontifex, today I handover a portion of my people into your care.  May 
this sign of my trust in you bring us closer as realms and develop 
understanding and peace between our nations"

Together they moved to a table on which a peace treaty had been 
prepared.  Using the same quill they took turns at signing their name to 
peace.

Diplomatic News
The realms of Perdan and Ibladesh have signed a peace treaty.

Evangeline looked one last time at Beziers, at it's sturdy palisade and 
loyal people before turning towards Kerwyn.

He was standing to her side with his head hanging down. Embracing him 
and then pulling back, she held him at arms length looking him in the eyes,

"It not the end Lord Kerwyn, it's just the beginning. Your loyalty and 
dedication to the people of Beziers won't be forgotten - and the 
selfless, gentle nature in which you allowed your region to be given for 
peace with Ibladesh is testimony to your honour and rightful title of Lord"
