Receiving the report of battle in Ahael, Riamh's eyes narrow. Clearly
perturbed, her tirade is heard only by the few attendants in the room and is
carried no further...as they care little for political dealings.

"Lasanar cannot even hope to reclaim Ahael, yet they attack. Ethialan
nobles were only to defend Lasanar, yet Lancelot orders the assault. This
is not the first time he has ignored the wishes of the Senate. Something is
clearly wrong with the mental capacity of our general...or is it that his
sympathies lie more with Lasanar's war of attrition than the decisions of
the Ethialan Senate? Or did he receive permission to 'let slip' this
mistake? Whipping boy, indeed! Nighthelm has even withdrawn their support
from Svunnetland. Lasanar does not need Ethialan support anymore than
[insert crudely indecent analogy here]"

She had questioned her fellow Senators--with civility. A few others had
sent similar inquiries. And now, she waited...

...she waits, still.
