[RPG] A return to affairs

It was time that Yarah decided to come out of his moping, his self 
imposed isolation. To end it, he first read all his letters, and gave 
extensive thought to his meeting with the Arcangela. But the memory of 
the act he had committed still rankled him.

Neverthless he decided that he would atleast make an effort to get back 
into the affairs of the realm, not as a direct participant but more as a 
caretaker and an advisor. The position of the dukeship which had been so 
graciously bestowed upon him by Lacolus, although he had not wished or 
asked for it, he decided to keep. It in a sense signified his initial 
rise in the Arcaean hierarchy when so many years ago, while he was still 
a young man, the Patriarch had bestowed upon him. And hence he decided 
he would restart, start again how he had done then. He would keep the 
dukeship and take care of the people of Remton.

He also read the piles and piles of letters that lay on his desk. And as 
he gained knowledge of all that had passed, a deep sadness echoed in his 
eyes. The way Ethiala had refused to back off even after Jacquilene had 
returned to Ethiala without any ban on her in Arcaea. The way Lasanar 
had, without any sign of aggression from Arcaea had attacked and taken 
Sasat. It was no longer the peaceful nation that it once had been and 
was no longer the nation which Daran had ruled and under Yarah, Arcaea 
had helped. Nevethless, he recruited a unit and decided to head to the 
front lines and rejoin the army.
