Jeff Guillot <jpguillot at gmail.com> wrote: A lone rider appears outside the gates of Ipsosez. He carries a
jasmine branch in one hand, lifted high above his head. In the other,
he carries a banner of truce. He wears the sigul of Palnasos on his
Tunic... which is colorful and bright. By his garb, he can be guessed
to be one of Adrahil's Hedonists. The rider hails the gates,
requesting entry.

"I carry a message for Queen Hoshi, and am instructed to deliver it to
her personally. Will you suffer me to enter?"

A pair of battle hardened archers stood bows at the ready...arrows fitted and ready to fly should the need arise...The captain at the gate scowled a bit...and looked the man over...he did not much like messengers who came insisting they see the Queen...Aimee would be even less pleased...he called a paige forward and instructed..."You lad...bring Aimee...this man carries a jasmine branch and a flag of truce and has asked to speak with the Queen...though I might like to deny him entry he comes with the sign that he has the Queen's permission to make such a request...."

The boy nodded and headed off to find Aimee...she would serve as this messenger's escort...or he would not gain entry.

After a few tense and silent moments a woman emerged from the Palace and approached the captain...said a few words in his ear...setting the man more on edge than he was already...she then turned to the messenger..."I will escort you to the Queen...please follow me..."
