Some of my inner turmoil has been a reflection of the silence that has stood between us for some time now...since long before I was put on the throne to rule and not just as your wife.

I have spent a good deal of time in the temple and with Domine Shen...I know the path I journey is a difficult path...an I know the path I journey requires balance...

I also know the path I journey requires that I be open to change...that I look about me and see things for what they are and not what I want them to be.

This land and these people are my heart...my life...and yes I define much of who I am through my service to the people...but that is a more recent definition I apply to myself...for I once defined myself...as daughter and the wife...and I am so much more than that....

I am Zhao Hoshi Eiryn...Arch Priestess of Svunnetland, Queen of Svunnetland, Guildmaster of the Emerald Order...Zhao Ziyang's Daughter and Einar Eiryn's wife...but above all of that I am Hoshi...traveler on the path Rig has set before me...sworn to uphold the ideals Forsetti has brought to us...those of justice...honesty and fairness...

So worry not overmuch for I will not loose myself to the darkness that often threatens to sweep me away...or the fits of anger and the tears of sadness that often take me...For I know well who I am and what I must do...as Arch Priestess...as Queen...and as a lady of this world."
