There are those moments you find yourself staring, only to discover that the
person at whom you stare has taken notice, which leads you to turn away.
This could easily digress to an assumption of interest...when, in reality,
you would fain go about your business. This was one of those moments.

Riamh regards the man objectively...then the seat he offered...and then the
man, again.

There were factors at work which needed consideration beyond, "How many
times have scenarios involving men offering Riamh a seat in a bar .. ended
favourably?"

For curious souls...the answer is none. Riamh never accepts the offers...for
personal reasons. Coincidentally, the answer could also be interperated as,
"Always. Riamh never accepts the offers...for personal reasons."

The first factor: She knew by the man's attire and the way he presented
himself that his class did not require him to perform magic tricks for
paltry change. He was of noble birth.

The second factor: He had shown fair respect to a woman by standing to greet
her, even if he had thus far proven to be nothing more than a mute
gentleman. Riamh felt no need to exercise her right of refusal.

Riamh breaks her statuesque pose with a glance to her two scouts...then
moves to the seat being offered...and accepts by sliding down to sit. Her
eyes fall on the concoction and she's compelled to inquire, "...what's your
poison?"

Riamh was genuinely unsure of whether she meant 'poison' figuratively...or
literally.
