People of Taith Aenil,

I do this now in the name of the Aenil. Yes, I do it for the Aenil.

We have stagnated, we find fanaticism too late. We fanatically hold the old
ideals to the point of rebellion with anything new. We sacrifice hundreds,
thousands of men, women and children for this. Our inability to move on.

We are the last bastion of Aenilic authority in the East. When we are
destroyed, the temples will be razed, we will be rounded up and hunted like
dogs and the path will be lost forever.

Can we allow this to happen? We are a theocratic state, our devotion is as
much to the faith as it is to the realm. And Taith Aenil is nothing without
Aenil, with an angel to be the mark of we are but a mark. We cannot allow
the church to fall... I may be considered a traitor of Taith Aenil, but I do
this to save the word of the Aenil, the greater authority, only they may
they judge me. We have seen the inability of our realm to serve the Aenil by
worship and by rule... it has meant the ability for ones with corrupted
minds, whether by malice or by straying from the path, to gather authority
they should not have.

I say this now, something I have not revealed to the realm since I
discovered it: Arella knew what was coming when she revealed the Book of
Promises... I too have read promises, and she corrupted the word, causing
strife, then fled. It was not easy for me to find this, and indeed I denied
it at first... the Arcangela had become the Apostate. I don't know whether
it was a simple seizing of a chance, or whether she was corrupted by the
Aenilic nature of the book which she found herself impossible to deny... I
have read the Book of Promises... the path has been corrupted. The heresy
has spread too deep to deny now... we must be born again, but to be born
again is to die.

How did I know the fall of Aenil to be imminent? I was told so by many a
person, and we could not hold against them... the Aenil are more important
than the realm, and if recreating Aenilia means the saving of the life of
even a single believer I would do it a thousand, ten thousand times.

I apologise to my students and those that are new to us, this needed to be
so precisely timed... it has not been my intention to disadvantage you. I
hope to see you, whether you follow or in another time, another place... To
those I have built good and strong relationships with, there may be a place
for you, all you need do is ask.

We lost our way... we are not the realm we started as. To clean the slate,
to start anew with the ideals of old and the ideas of new... to save
Aenilia.
