At that moment, when Sohei's will had turned to violence, they struck.  They
had accomplished what their master had wanted,  to shatter Sohei's will so
he would seek to defend himself at all costs.

The 31 Toys wasted no time as each struck Sohei with their fists and feet so
he could sleep.

But even they were not sure it would be enough.
