After hearing of King Lu’an suddenly collapsing, Victor races towards the 
Royal Palace, ignoring all in his path. Upon arrival Victor enters the 
palace, runs down the steer corridor to the Kings chambers…. As Victor 
enters, the healer speaks.

Healer: Enter, Lord Victor….

Victor silent enters the room, breathing heavily, but trying his best to 
slow his pace.

Victor slowly starts walking towards the bed where Lu’an is resting…. As 
Victor gets closer, he can see Lu’an face clearly…. Victor stops, he feels 
scared, scared for his friend…. After a few moments, Victor gathers the 
courage to move closer, Victor stands next to the bed and stares at Lu’an.

Healer: I don’t know what is wrong with him….

Victor: He…. He looks…. He looks cold…. Lifeless….

Healer: Yes, his symptoms are of which I have never seen before….

Victor: What? What do you mean?! are you saying you cant help him!?

Healer: Victor be quiet please! Shouting wont help him, nor can I….

Victor: Lu’an…. Can, can he hear me?

Healer: I doubt it….

Victor: Leave the room for a moment please….

Healer: But he shou…

Victor: I said leave!

The healer quickly leaves the room, slowly shutting the door behind him…. 
Victor stares at Lu’an for a moment then kneels down besides the bed….

Victor: Lu’an…. I don’t know if you can hear me…. But…. We need you, we need 
you to be strong, all of us, don’t die on us Lu’an…. You have done too much, 
you cant stop now, fight…. I wanted to tell you, the battle today…. The 
battle was not your fault….

Victor finds it hard to speak, he can feel a lump in his throat as he 
speaks. Victor places his hand on Lu’an’s shoulder.

Victor: It was not your fault! Men died, this much is true…. But one man 
cannot be responsible for such a thing, one man alone cannot be to blame, we 
were all at fault…. It was not your fault Lu’an and don’t you for a second 
think otherwise! The people of Antoza know this, they respect you, we 
respect you….. I respect you…. It wasn’t your fault…. You have to fight 
Lu’an, fight the good fight…. Just…. Just be safe…. don’t blame yourself…
