Hoshi was uneasy as she set out for Ahael...equipment damage was high...but she'd had to make a choice...pay the troops or repair their equipment...she couldn't do both...so she paid them....when the orders came to move out to Ahael...she relayed them to her troops and they moved out...unsure the equipment would be enough...but it was at least something...and they needed to continue to protect what was theirs...and Ahael still flew the banners of Svunnetland...

When the arrow pierced her armour she was not surprised...when the soldier bearing down on her hit her in the side of the head she was not surprised...and as she lost concsiousness she saw Aimee...strike out at all who came near her with a vengence...she hoped Aimee would have sense enough to walk away and let Hoshi die on the battlefield if it came to a fight for her life...

She had vague memories of hands pulling at her...of being lifted and moved...she had vague memories of the smell of the herbs the healers used...voices muffled...before she let herself fall into the black oblivion that beckoned her...
