[RPG] [Colonies][OT] Alanna Anaris ~ Arrival At A Bewildering Tower

Alanna looks about her.  She appears to be on the top of a rather  
bizarre tower.  "What in the name of...." she murmurs.  "Wasn't I  
just in a cave with that weird guy with the pink slimy thing in his  
eye socket?  Wait, there was some kind of blue flash...and now I'm on  
top of a tower."

Locating a staircase, she descends, finding a room filled with an  
incredible assortment of oddities, most of which she wouldn't dare  
touch lest they explode (and most of the rest of which she wouldn't  
dare touch lest they simply disintegrate).  "By the Gods, what is  
this place?"

Just then she hears a loud crash from beyond the only door in the  
room.  Like most people will when hearing an ominous noise in an  
unfamiliar place, she runs toward it.  There before her was a man,  
lying bleeding on a table, with numerous strange devices skittering  
around agitatedly.  She moves forward, attempting to get to the man,  
but the devices stop her, and a particularly menacing-looking  
ambulatory eyeball looks prepared to attack her.

"OK, OK, you can treat his wounds, then...ridiculous machines..."

She looks around a little more, seeing that there is only one door  
other than the one by which she entered...and it is on the far side  
of the bleeding stranger and his mother-wolf eyeball.  "What is it  
with these weirdos and eyeballs?" Alanna mutters.

"Well, anyway, it looks like I'm stuck here for a little while..."   
She returns through the door behind her, and attempts to maker  
herself moderately comfortable for the duration.
