[RPG] [FEI][Las]Anaos

The road from Colasan had been uneventful. Few travelled the route been
Colasan and Ozrat save the odd band of recruits sent to the capital. The
trade traffic had all but been reduced to local ox carts. The night had
passed presenting a new dawn in Anaos. The local administration had been
busy preparing for the day ahead. The garrison of Anaos was light, as the
region is nestled between the capital and an allied city. Menelmereth had
her honour guard take up key positions upon the palisade, keeping only a few
guards around her. The ceremony was soon to begin.

The rising sun warmed the faces of the gathered. Two men awaited the arrival
of the soon to be countess and escorted her to the makeshift ceremonial
platform. Menelmereth nodded and smiled to her former student, still in her
battle-worn armour, as a herald introduced the two women behind him. A
moss-green candle and a few documents sat on a small wooden table upon the
stage.

Exaltedly, Menelmereth began, "People of Anaos, I regret that lord Vincent
has seemingly disappeared without a trace. As a realm can not be without a
ruler, a region can not be without its lord. Today, a fine young noble lady
will take her place as Countess. May she lead you to prosperity." With that
she pressed her signet into the molten mossy wax. With a softer voice and a
smile, she handed the papers to Kestrelle, "Countess, I trust you trip was a
pleasent one?"
