/She stood on a high hill overlooking the bay, the grey day matched her
melancholy mood as her blonde hair was pushed acrossed her face that was
etched with a hollowness of loss and the type of pain that comes from a
broken heart. She turned to the scout she managed to hear despite
sounds of the waves battering the hill just below. The Scout had
disappointing news. He didn't want to give it to the lady not for fear
of retribution, which would have been a real fear just a week ago, but
because even though she tried to hide it, it was written acrossed her
face how much mental anguish she suffered and how nmuch she needed this
small thing.../

/The soldier turned scout's face hid nothing as well. She smiled with
genuine appreciation, something that had not been seen on her in
seemingly ages, and informed him that it was there and asked if he could
renew his search. The man wanted to desparately to ease the suffering
he read like an open book, and did just that.../

/It was not far from the bay where she stood, a mere 11 miles or so.
She knew she had to be close, but in her young life she never ventured
more than a few miles from her home and once she left it was in
chains... more than a decade ago, and this was her first time
returning. It was mostly gone, the little hamlet where she was born and
raised. A foundation of the few brick buildings here and there. All
overgrown with this or that. The foundation of her house was still
there, and she walked into the room she shared with her sisters... in
Outer Tilog one room of any of her suites would have been bigger than
the entire house she was born and raise. But despite the chill in the
air and the lack of much other than rubble, and even with the wind
whipping around her, she could close her eyes and feel home... something
she at long last was not about to accomplish in Outer Tilog./

/The tears of sorrow for what she could never get back streamed down her
careworn cheeks and she walked with her infant daughter Eryn and told
her all about her home with sweeping gestured and sad little smiles, it
seemed to easy some of the woman's pain somehow. She left the little
hamlet that one wouldn't know as such unless one had actually been here
when it was one./

/The Soldier watched his lady leave, he said a prayer, that he return to
his family and village and it be in better repair than this one. As he
rose the words, 'But for the grace of the gods goes I.' He knelt once
more and added a silent prayer // that his lady finds her peace.

/Despyria had sensed that something was wrong... it wasn't until the
messenger came that she was sure that something was amiss. The
messenger was Tilogian, he didn't expect what he recieved... the slight
woman backhanded him acrossed the room for the bad news. He expected
she would have tortured him to death... she was who she was after all.
With a few fractured bones the messenger made his way to freedom and was
determined to make a life in the Monster Land that had to be better than
where he had just come from./

/The Eternal composed a letter the mass of copies she had, had made was
staggering, especially concidering who they were to. She filled out the
recepiant list and sent them with trusted messengers that she would have
killed directly after they reached their destination. No one would know
all of her secrets... no one./

"You Dear," Despyria turned to the young woman plotting to murder her...
_*again*_, and ordered her, "you will go back to Outer Tilog and prepare
for my arrival. You know how to find information, find out what I want
to know dear, because none abuses what is mine but me..." The Eternal
softly caressed the young woman's cheek in a far to familar manner. The
woman pulled away flustered and embarrassed much to her Mistress'
delieght. Her retreating footsteps were chased by the mad woman's
laughter...
